Advanced Management of Training
 
PREMISE: Corporate performance problems have been traced partly to professional gaps observed in training/human resource development specialists in carrying out their duties. Such identified gaps include improper identification and analysis of corporate performance problems, selection of wrong intervention and the generally poor implementation of training which all lead to inability to justify the impact of training. These reflect poor management of the training/HRD function and training departments, thereby limiting their contribution to organization effectiveness.

OBJECTIVES: This course therefore, designed to improve participant's knowledge and skills in diagnosing performance problems, and designing appropriate training interventions. At the end of the course participants should be able to:
 
  • identify and analyze training related problems in their organization;
  • develop training and human resource development policies;
  • design need-based training programmes;
  • evaluate training consultancy proposals and budgets; and
  • manage training functions
